About Comprehensive Women’s Health
What makes the patient experience at Comprehensive Women’s Health special is the entire team’s cohesive effort to make everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. Serving two cities, Oxford and Birmingham, Michigan, the team is recognized by the community for providing personalized care.
Comprehensive Women’s Health is dedicated to caring for women of all ages, with a variety of services: high-risk obstetrics, fetal monitoring, complete gynecological care, and gynecological minimally invasive surgeries. A few of the minimally invasive surgeries offered include endometrial ablation (treats heavy bleeding), and laparoscopic, robotic, and vaginal hysterectomies.
The practice also offers counseling and treatment for menopause, contraception, and infertility.
The team at Comprehensive Women’s Health realizes that there are a variety of reasons that women visit the gynecologist, whether it’s for an annual gynecology exam or an infertility workup, and it’s important that women — no matter their situation — feel comfortable with the treatment process. Taking this into consideration, the team strives to treat each woman with kindness, respect, and patience.

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) INFORMATION
We will continue to see patients but are allowing PATIENTS ONLY into our office. Do not bring anyone else without you to your appointment as they will not be allowed into the office. The only exception is for fetal ultrasounds, for which patients will be allowed to bring their significant other only.
Pregnant Patients:
Unlike influenza and other respiratory viruses, based on a limited number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, pregnant women do not appear to be at increased risk for severe disease. However, given the lack of data and experience with other coronaviruses, such as SARS-CoV and MERS- CoV, you should be evaluated if you are exhibiting symptoms. Follow best precautions for everyone, as listed below.
If you have an uncomplicated pregnancy and have no underlying health issues, you may stay at home and treat symptoms with fluids and rest. Take Tylenol for fever.
Please check Beaumont website (link below) about current visitor policies for the hospital which are updated regularly. It is likely that no visitors will be allowed during your labor and delivery experience, other than your significant other.
Patients 60 years or older:
For your own safety, since you are at higher risk for complications of coronavirus, we request that you reschedule all non-urgent visits. We will call you to reschedule at a later date.
All Patients:
If you are not feeling well and have any symptoms of fever, sore throat, or cough, please do not come into the office.
Best precautions for everyone:
- Frequent hand washing with soap and water or with antibacterial with over 60% alcohol
- Avoid touching your face
- Avoid large crowds
- Avoid unnecessary travel
- Avoid other sick persons
- Work from home if able
